Thanks everyone for the prayers and thoughts. Here’s an update: Brandon will be released on Nov. 23, after which he will enter a 90 day in house rehab program. Please keep praying that he will be healed, delivered from his addiction and that he won’t be in bondage to that any longer. Also pray he lets God back into his life and that he realizes he can’t do it on his own without God.

Awww Mary my dear dear friend my heart just keeps breaking over and over for you but most of all Brandon. While my addiction to alcohol isn’t nearly as strong as his is, the addiction is still there and something I struggle with on a pretty regular basis. I too know that unless HE is willing to change (as well as myself) no one can give him the help he needs (well except God). My prayer through all of this is that God would touch him while he spends time in jail (kudos to you for doing the right thing & calling the police) and that his eyes will be opened to what he’s doing to his life and that he’ll ‘wake up’ and realize that he needs help.

And if you ever need anything please let me know! I’m just a phone call, IM, text, email, etc away! I’m here for you. I love you & will keep on praying!
